NORM NF.EN 1065
To be in accordance with the norm NF.EN.1065, you need:
- A permanent safety device avoiding involuntary dismantling between the inner and the outer tubes.
- A pin, nominal diameter more than 13 mm, locking with prop itself.
- A more than 100 mm clearance for hand safety.
- When the inner tube is full erected, there are still 300 mm within inside the main tube.
- A stop adjusting nut system avoiding accidental releasing of the outer tube.
- A minimal extension of the inner tube up to or equal to 1 meter (between the props completely close and completely erected).
All those specifications must be existing to be in accordance with norm.
The official laboratory authorized props are identified by a marking.
For greater safety, RETOTUB‘s props have:
- A fingers protection system avoiding pinching between the foot of the inner tube and the bottom of the outer tube.
- A reinforced base.
- A chamfered edge pin for a best fitting in the adjusting holes.
